When it comes to simple and tasty morning treats it’s hard to beat these larrabars. With only three ingredients and no cooking this one is a no brainer. We have tried a few combinations, but this one with raw cashews came out the winner. They almost have a creamy texture thanks to the dates and nuts and the salty taste at the end is just right. Best to make these the night before. Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of raw cashews

  • 1 1/2 cups of medjool dates

  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Directions

  • Add the nuts, dates and salt to a food processor or blender and pulse until a sticky ball forms.
  • Place the ball of dates and nuts between two pieces of waxed paper and flatten into an 8″ square. You can also use an 8″ cake pan to form the square if you prefer.
  • Place in the refrigerator for an hour.
  • Cut into bars and enjoy.
