Ok Ok I know that everyone makes guacamole. There’s nothing complicated or too special about the famous Mexican dip. I’m going to put this out there though, that a couple of little additions turns good guacamole into better and damned good guacamole. Read on to find out how to make the ordinary just that much better. This classic dip with a twist is perfect with any of your favourite Mexican dishes whether it be tortilla chips or quesadillas.
Damned Good Guacamole

2 large, ripe avocados, peeled and pits removed
1 large, ripe tomato
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/3 cup of cilantro, chopped
1/4 sweet onion, finely diced
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp of cumin
1 Tbsp of vegan mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large bowl, mash the avocados with a fork.
- Add the tomato, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, cumin, mayonnaise, salt and pepper and stir well.
- Refrigerate before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tortilla chips, quesadillas or whatever your favourite Mexican dish is.
- If you leave on avocado pit in the dip it will stay fresher looking for longer.
