Who doesn’t like walnuts and dates? These quick and easy date and nut balls are a classic flavour combination and a hint of coconut really brings them to a whole new level. With just five ingredients you can whip these up fast making them perfect for a snack or a dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Medjool dates

  • 1 cup of walnuts

  • 1/2 cup of shredded coconut (preferably unsweetened)

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla

  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Directions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a food processor.
  • Blend until you get a nice consistent dough.
  • Form the dough into small, bite sized balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Eat them right away or cool in the refrigerate for an hour first if you have the will power.

Notes

  • You can substitute the vanilla with a 1/2 tsp of rum for boozy holiday version.
