There is nothing better than fruit when in season. Up here in the north we’re not as lucky as some when it comes to fresh produce year round. Come late summer and fall when berries, peaches and apples are in season it’s time to take advantage. This is a simple dessert of snack that everyone will like. With more and more dairy free yogurts coming to market the choices are huge. Our go to is a cultured coconut yogurt by Riviera but there are oat milk and other varieties too. Riviera has no sugar and 4 grams of protein per serving along with vitamins B12, A, D and calcium. What’s not to like. Anyway we will often have this on a hot night. Simple but yummy.
