Growing up we often had apple crisp in the fall. Now that peaches are in season we decided to expand our horizons and try this peach crisp. A friend recently served this yummy dessert using fresh peaches from a tree in her yard in Nova Scotia so it’s hard to beat that for fresh, but the stores are full of almost local fruit so grab a basket and give this comfort food a try. It’s quick and simple to make and is a nice treat for yourself or your family.
