This turmeric latte isn’t going to be your whole breakfast but it’s a super yummy addition to your favourite cereal or toast. When Kyla put this in front of me I have to admit I was skeptical. I still ask for a large when we occasionally end up at Starbucks and this seemed like one of “those” drinks. Anyway I was totally wrong, or maybe right?!? Maybe it is one of those drinks and I’ve been missing out all this time. Regardless, this is a quick, hot drink to help start, or end your day. No caffeine and all good for you.

Ingredients

  • 350ml vanilla oat milk (or other vanilla, dairy free milk)

  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Directions

  • Put all the ingredients in a small pot and whisk continually over medium heat with a milk frother, an emersion blender or a good old fashioned whisk. Once hot, pour into mugs and serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
