We don’t always have smoothies but when we do they’re protein packed and green. Sometimes in the afternoon you just need a boost to make it through until dinner. A smoothie is a great way to get a couple of servings of fruit and veg along with a shot of protein. This simple recipe can be adopted to include your favourite fruits so don’t shy away from substituting. These are also great for breakfast if you’re in a hurry.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger peeled

  • 2 cups spinach

  • 1/2 cup of pea protein

  • 1 1/2 cups water or oat milk

Directions

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and let it rip!
