The first time we made these I was a bit skeptical, but after tasting them I was sold. These brownies are so moist and yummy I felt like stating that the serving size was 1 instead of 12!

Decadent Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed

  • 1/3 cup of maple syrup

  • 1/4 oatmilk

  • 1/3 cup of peanut butter

  • 2 tsps vanilla extract

  • 2 chia eggs (2 Tbsps chia combined with 6 Tbsps water)

  • 1 cup of all purpose or oat flour

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips

  • 1/4 Walnuts

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Make the chia eggs by combining the chia and water in a small bowl, and set aside.
  • In a larger bowl, combine the wet ingredients.
  • Add in the dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  • Fold the chocolate chips and walnuts into the mixture.
  • Line an 8″ x 8″ baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Evenly spread the batter in the pan.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes .
  • Dust with icing sugar before serving if you’re feeling fancy.
