This is a creamy oatmeal with hints of cinnamon, maple and vanilla. To make it even better we suggest topping your breakfast with all your favourites. Berries, seeds, nuts or whatever you fancy. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats

  • 2/3 cups of oat milk (or other dairy free milk)

  • 1 Tbsp of almond or peanut butter (optional)

  • 1 Tbsp of maple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp of salt

  • Topping Suggestions
  • Blueberries

  • Strawberries

  • Dairy free chocolate chips

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Dried fruit

  • Maple syrup

  • Nuts

Directions

  • To a medium sized pot over medium heat add the oats and oat milk.
  • Stir until the mixture starts to thicken.
  • Add the nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.
  • Continue to stir until the oatmeal thickens to the desired consistency.
  • Serve in a bowl with your favourite toppings.

Notes

  • You can always add a little more milk if you like your oatmeal on the thinner side.
