In 2018 Kyla and I got our basic open water diving license in Roatan, Honduras. That experience was so much fun that by the next winter we were itching to build on what we had learned. With that, we booked into a dive resort in Utila in order to take our next level, advanced open water course. It was a great week which included a night dive and a wreck dive. With our new credentials in our pockets we headed back to Roatan for another week of diving, hanging out with old friends and making new ones. Can’t recommend Roatan enough as a get away destination. It’s the perfect mix of chill and convenience.
