Well sometimes not enough happens in a single weekend to cobble together a video. Other times I’m just too slow. Either way this video combines our activities over two weekends of sailing our Cal 29 on the Ottawa River.
The first weekend was Spent at Pinhey’s, Constance Bay and Baskins before we headed home ahead of bad weather. Weekend two was pretty dead calm so we stayed closer to home. This was the first time we explored Shirley’s Bay in the kayaks. This is home to an army shooting range so no people are around. This allows the wildlife to flourish so it’s a pretty good spot to see interesting birds and the like.
