Tea biscuits are a delicious and easy way to start the day. The nice thing is that not only do they taste great but you can add peanut butter, jam or anything else to liven them up and get some protein to start your day.

Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- In a small bowl combine the lemon juice to oat milk and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add cold vegan butter to the flour mix and use your hands to quickly combine the two until it looks a little like wet sand.
- While stirring the mixture, gently pour in the oat milk about 1/4 cup at a time until you have a slightly tacky dough.
- Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and dust the top with a bit more flour. Gently turn the dough over on itself 5-6 times adding more flour as needed to prevent sticking.
- Gently form the dough into a 1-inch thick round, trying to handle the dough as little as possible.
- Cut out the biscuits using a cutter or knife or tool of your choice (even a small glass will work).
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet making sure to allow some space between each one.
- Repeat step 8 until all the dough is used. You should end up with 8 to 10 biscuits.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until fluffy and slightly golden in colour.
- Serve immediately with jam, peanut butter, vegan cheese or your favourite topping.
