Açai is a superfood that comes from South America. It boasts a number of health benefits such as antioxidant properties, and the best part is that it tastes great. You can buy Açai in most natural and health food stores so it’s pretty easy to find. There are lots of ways to use Açai but our favourite is in a breakfast bowl. When combined with oats, fruit, nuts and seeds this breakfast will wake your mouth up with a GOOD MORNING shot of awesome. Pictured here is Açai with almonds, mango and hemp seeds. Try this for something a little out of the ordinary and you won’t be disappointed.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of frozen berries

  • 1 banana, frozen

  • 1 pack of Açai purée

  • 4 Tbsp of oats

  • 2/3 of a cup of oat milk (or other dairy free milk)

  • Top With
  • Fruit like mango, strawberries etc

  • Nuts like almonds, walnuts etc

  • Seeds like hemp, pumpkin etc

  • Coconut flakes

Directions

  • Add the frozen fruit, banana, açai purée, oats and milk to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Top with your choice of fruit, nuts, seeds etc. and enjoy
